Ingredients

  • 1 Tbs oil
  • 1/2 small onion, chopped
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1/4 tsp chili powder
  • 1/4 tsp ground cumin
  • 2 cans pinto or black beans drained (1/2 cup dried)
  • 1/2 cup water

Steps

Saute onions and salt until translucent. Add garlic, chili powder, cumin. Cook 30 sec. Add drained beads and water. Cook 5 min. Mash. Cook 3 min more. Add water as necessasry.
