Ingredients

  • 4 Tbs oil
  • paneer - 4L milk+ 2 lemons
  • 2 tsp cumin seeds
  • 2 medium onion
  • 1 large red pepper
  • 2 Tbs ginger, chopped
  • 4 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 800 g chopped tomato
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric
  • 1/4 tsp hot paprika
  • 2 Tbs ground coriander
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 Tbs garam masala
  • 2 Tbs fenugreek leaves
  • 4 Tbs butter
  • Rice, to serve

Steps

Slice (don't cube) the paneer and pan fry (you may want to coat in oil and salt first). Remove from heat and cool. Cube. Fry cumin seeds 1 min. Add onions, peppers, ginger, garlic, 5 min. Add tomatoes, turmeric, paprika, coriander, salt. Simmer covered 10 min. Purre Add 1/2 cup water and boil Add paneer. Simmer covered 5 min Add garam masala, butter, fenugreek, and cream. Stir Serve with rice.

    Double the recipe. Serve with rice
