Ingredients

  • 1/2 stick of butter
  • 1.5 tbsp olive oil
  • one diced onion
  • 2 diced celery stalks
  • 3.5 oz package shiitake mushrooms
  • 8 oz package baby bellas
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • 1 large egg beaten
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 8 croissants torn in bite-size pieces

Steps

1) Preheat oven to 375 F. Grease a baking dish 2) melt butter and oil in a pan, add the celery and onions, cook 10 min and season with salt and pepper. 3) Add mushrooms and thyme, cook 10 min until mushrooms are tender. Let cool slightly 4) stir eggs and broth into the pot. Add croissants and toss until well mixed. Transfer to baking dish. Cover with foil and bake 20 min. Remove foil and bake for other 15 min.
