Ingredients
- 2 cup brown & wild rice blend
- 2 1/4 cups beef broth
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 large yellow onion , chopped
- 3 celery stalks , chopped
- 4 garlic cloves , minced
- 8 ounces oyster mushrooms, chopped
- 8 ounces shiitake mushrooms, chopped
- 3 tablespoons fresh chopped sage
- 1 tablespoon fresh chopped thyme
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/3 cup chopped pecans
Steps
1) Cook rice in broth for 45 minutes
2) Saute celery and onion 8 minutes.
Add garlic, mushrooms, sage, thyme, and salt. Saute 8-10 minutes
3) Combine rice, mushroom mixture, and pecans.
