Ingredients

  • 2 cup brown & wild rice blend
  • 2 1/4 cups beef broth
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 large yellow onion , chopped
  • 3 celery stalks , chopped
  • 4 garlic cloves , minced
  • 8 ounces oyster mushrooms, chopped
  • 8 ounces shiitake mushrooms, chopped
  • 3 tablespoons fresh chopped sage
  • 1 tablespoon fresh chopped thyme
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/3 cup chopped pecans

Steps

1) Cook rice in broth for 45 minutes 2) Saute celery and onion 8 minutes. Add garlic, mushrooms, sage, thyme, and salt. Saute 8-10 minutes 3) Combine rice, mushroom mixture, and pecans.
