Ingredients

  • 15 min prep 25 min cook
  • 6 oz extra sharp cheddar shredded
  • 1 cup water
  • 6 tbsp butter
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 cup all purpose flour
  • 4 eggs
  • 3 tbsp minced chives
  • 2 tsp chopped thyme
  • 1 tsp black pepper

Steps

1) Preheat oven to 400 F. Line two large baking sheets with parchment. Grate cheese 2) Heat water and butter and salt in a pan at medium heat until butter melts. Remove from heat. Add flower and stir until dough comes together as a ball. Let it stand 5 min 3) Stir the eggs with the pot, incorporate them well in the dough. Fold in chives, thyme, black pepper, and cheddar. With a teaspoon drop dough onto lined baking sheets spacing them 1 inch apart 4) Bel 20 min
