Ingredients

  • *3 Tbs brown shugar
  • *3 Tbs flour
  • *2 Tbs chopped almonds
  • *1/4 tsp cinnamon
  • 2 Tbs cold butter
  • 10 oz maraschino cherries, drained but reserve 1/4 juice
  • 1 1/3 cup flour
  • 2/3 cup sugar
  • 1/2 Tbs baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 tsp almond extract
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla
  • 3 Tbs sliced almonds

Steps

1) Preheat oven to 400 F. Line muffin tints 2) Mix * ingredients. Then cut in butter and crumble 3) Chop cherries and set aside 4) Mix dry ingredients. Mix wet ingredients separately. Then combine, mixing as little as possible. Fold in cherries and almonds. 5) Pour into muffin cups and top with crumble. 6) Bake 19-23 minutes
