Ingredients

  • 1/2 cups unsalted butter
  • 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 6 cups oz chicken broth
  • 1 bottle pale ale beer
  • 2 cups pf half& half
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/ tsp garlic powder
  • 12 oz of Emmental or Beemster Vlaskaas cheese shredded

Steps

1) In a sauce pan melt butter, add flour, whisk to combine. Stir in broth slowly and then beer and half& half. Add garlic and salt. Let the mixture simmer at medium heat 2) Reduce heat to low, cook 10 min until mixture is creamy and thickens. Add gradually the cheese
