Ingredients
- 1/2 cups unsalted butter
- 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 6 cups oz chicken broth
- 1 bottle pale ale beer
- 2 cups pf half& half
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/ tsp garlic powder
- 12 oz of Emmental or Beemster Vlaskaas cheese shredded
Steps
1) In a sauce pan melt butter, add flour, whisk to combine. Stir in broth slowly and then beer and half& half. Add garlic and salt. Let the mixture simmer at medium heat
2) Reduce heat to low, cook 10 min until mixture is creamy and thickens. Add gradually the cheese
