Ingredients
- 1 egg
- 1 lb lean ground beef
- 1/2 lb ground pork
- 1/2 cup bread crumbs
- 1/4 cups half & half
- 1 tbsp grated onion
- salt and pepper
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter
- 1/4 cup flour
- 14 oz chicken broth
- 2 tbsp dried dill
- 1 cup sour cream
- fresh parsley for garnish
Steps
1) Prep: 15 min Bake: 20 min
Preheat oven to 375 F.
In a large bowl beat the egg. Add beef, pork, breadcrumbs, half&half, grated onion, 1tspn salt, pepper and blend well
Shape mixture into 1-inch meatballs, and placed in baking pan.
Bake 20 to 25 min or until browned
2) In a saucepan melt butter, whisk in flour, until thickened, then slowly add broth.
Add dill and salt to taste, cook for 4 min or until it starts to boil
Remove from heat and add sour cream
3) Pour sauce over meatballs and garnish with parsley
