Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cup Half & Half
  • 1 Tbs vinegar
  • 4 1/2 c (18 oz) shreded cheddar
  • 2 1/2 Tbs Flour
  • 1/2 Tbs Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp dry mustard
  • 1 clove Garlic
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • Milk
  • Dippers: apple, broccoli, bread

Steps

1) Add vinegar to half & half 2) Let stand for 10 minutes 3) Add flour to cheese 4) Add worcestershire, mustard, garlic and salt and scald (don't boil) 5) Add cheese, bit by bit, stirring to melt 6) Add milk as needed to thin
