Ingredients

  • 1 tsp Olive Oil
  • 3 lb boneless chuck roast
  • Salt & Pepper
  • 2 cup coarsly chopped onion
  • 1 cup dry red wine
  • 4 thyme sprigs
  • 3 clove garlic, chopped
  • 8 oz beef broth
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 4 large carrots, peeled & cut into 1" pieces
  • 2 lb potato, peeled & cut into 2" pieces

Steps

1) Sprinkle meat with salt & pepper 2) Brown in olive oil 3) Put in crock pot 4) Saute onion in pan 5) Add to crock pot 6) Add everything to crock pot 7) Cook on low 8-12 hours
