Ingredients
- 4 Tbs Butter
- 4 Tbs Flour
- 11/2 cup chicken broth
- 2/3 cup Milk
- salt & Pepper
- nutmeg
- 1 lb. chicken, cooked and diced
- 1 cup chopped cooked carrot
- 1 cup peas or green beans
- Crust:
- 1/2 cup white flour
- 1/4 cup wheat flour
- 1/4 margarine
- Salt
Steps
1) Prepare crust and chill
2) Cut carrots and cook in microwave until soft
3) Melt butter in saucepan
4) Add flour
5) Add chicken broth and milk, then seasonings
6) Layer chicken, carrots and peas in 2 quart dish
7) Cover with sauce
8) Cover with crust
9) Bake 425F 25-30 minutes

I have done pocket pot pies in muffin pan and in those cases I have used this dough recipe and doubled the amount of dough. Cooking time remains the same
