Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup minced onion
  • 1 tsp grated ginger
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 Tbs red wine vinegar
  • 1 1/2 tsp brown mustard
  • 2 Tbs Butter
  • 2 lb. pork tenderloins
  • 1 Tbs crushed black peppercorn
  • 1 1/2 tsp fresh thyme
  • Salt

Steps

1) Saute onion, ginger, garlic 2 minutes 2) Add water & sugar, boil and cook until reduced to 1/2 cup (about 5 min) 3) Remove from heat 4) Add soy sauce, vinegar, mustard & butter, stirring to melt 5) Rub tenderloin with peppercorn, thyme & salt 6) Brown in skillet 7) Bake at 350F for 23 minutes (160F) 8) Let stand 10 min 9) Cut each into 12 pieces, serve with sauce
