Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup butter, softened
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 2 Eggs
  • 4 Egg whites
  • 1 cup Yogurt
  • 1/4 c Canola oil
  • 2 Tbs Lemon juice
  • 2 Tbs+ grated lemon peel
  • 4 tsp poppy seeds
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 31/2 cups Flour
  • 1 cup confectioner's sugar
  • 21/2 Tbs Lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp poppy seeds

Steps

1) Spray bunt cake pan with pam 2) Beat butter and sugar 3) Add eggs and whites one at at time 4) Add yogurt, oil, and lemon juice 5) Add lemon peel, baking powder, baking soda, and salt 6) Add flour, alternating with milk 7) Pour into pan, and bake 50-55 min at 350F 8) Cool in pan 10 minutes 9) Then cool on wire rack (10 min or more) 10) Mix confectioners sugar and lemon juice for glaze 11) Put cake on waxed paper, and drizzle glaze over it 12) Sprinkle with poppy seeds
