Ingredients
- 21/2 cup Flour
- 1/4 tsp Salt
- 3/4 cup Butter
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 cup sugar
- 6 oz walnuts
- 11/4 cup cream
- 1 Tbs honey
- 1 Egg yolk
- 3/4 cup Whipped Cream
Steps
1) Combine flour, salt, butter, 1/2 cup sugar, and egg to make the crust
2) Chill thoroughly
3) Roast & coarsly chop walnuts nuts
4) Melt 1 cup sugar over medium heat - DO NOT BURN
5) Add nuts to melted suar & stir
6) Add cream
7) Cook briefly over low heat, stir until smooth
8) Add honey
9) Cool filling mixture
10) Butter and flour pan
11) Roll out 2/3 of the crust, and line 10" springform pan
12) Roll out remaining 1/3 for the top crust
13) Beat egg yolk and spreat half over bottom layer of crust
14) Fill crust with filling mixture
15) Cover with remainig crust
16) Spread remaining egg yolk over top crust
17) Run knife along the edge to prevent sticking
18) Bake 55 min at 300FF
19) Serve with whipped cream topping
