Ingredients

  • 2 tsp fresh minced ginger
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp dry mustard
  • 1/2 tsp ground coriander
  • 1/2 tsp ground cumin
  • 1/4 tsp ground tumeric
  • 1/4-1/2 tsp Cayenne
  • 1/8 tsp ground cloves
  • 1 Tbs oil
  • 1 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 2 Tbs fresh minced ginger
  • 3/4 cup broth
  • 2 Tbs chopped raisins or fruit bits
  • 1 lb medium shrimp, peeled

Steps

1) Combine 1st 9 ingredients in small bowl 2) Add vinegar, stir to form paste 3) Saute onion, ginger, and garlic in oil 2 min 4) Add spice paste and stir 30 sec 5) Add broth and raisins 6) Simmer, uncovered, 10 minutes 7) Add shrimp - cook 4 min or until shrimp are done, stirring occasionally
