Ingredients
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup molasses
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/4 cup water
- 3 Tbs oil
- 2 tsp cinnamon
- 4 cups rolled oats
- Any of the following:
- 2/3 cup Chopped walnuts
- 2/3 cup Chopped pecans
- 2/3 cup Chopped almonds
- 2/3 cup Sunflower seeds
- 1/3 cup (sweetened) coconut
- 1/4 cup wheat germ
- 1/4 cup corn meal
- 1/2-2/3 cup rasins or dried fruit bits
Steps
1) Warm sugar, molasses, honey, water, oil, and cinnamon in sauce pan to dissolve sugar
2) Mix all remaining ingredients EXCEPT dried fruit on large cookie sheet
3) Pour syrup over all, stirring to coat
4) Bake 10 minutes at 300F
5) Mix in dried fruit, and bake 10 minutes more
