Ingredients
- 1 lb fresh green beans, trimmed
- 1 lb fresh wax beans, trimmed
- 1/4 cup balsamic vineger
- 2 Tbs Olive Oil
- Pepper
- Salt
- 3 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
- 1 cup loosley packed basil leaves, coarsly chopped
- 1/2 cup finely chopped red onion
- fresh basil sprigs
Steps
1) Cook green and wax beans in boiling water 5 minutes
2) Drain and cover immediately with cold (ice) water
3) Combine vineger, oil, salt, pepper
4) Add beans, tomatoes, basil leaves, and onion
5) Toss gently
6) Cover and chill
7) Garnish with basil sprigs
