Ingredients

  • 2 cups Flour
  • 1 cup grated low-fat cheddar
  • 1 Tbs sugar
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp sage
  • 1/2 tsp thyme
  • 1/2 tsp Dill weed
  • 3 Tbs margarine
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup fat-free plain yogurt
  • 1/2 cup skim milk
  • 1/2 tsp poppy seeds

Steps

1) Mix dry ingredients 2) Cut in butter 3) Add egg, yogurt, and milk, stirring until just moistened 4) Spoon into greased 9" round pan 5) Sprinkle with poppy seeds 6) Bake 20-25 minutes at 400F
